Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Holograph PressWorks website (holographpressworks.com) and any services you engage us to provide. By accessing our website or commissioning our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Holograph PressWorks provides professional publishing services including, but not limited to:

• E-book conversion (EPUB, MOBI, KF8, PDF)
• Book typesetting and interior layout design
• Content development and manuscript editing
• Self-publishing guidance and production management
• Accessibility remediation for digital publications

All services are subject to a separate project agreement or statement of work that will be issued on a per-project basis.

Quotes are provided based on the scope of work described at the time of enquiry. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope changes materially during the project. All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Unless otherwise specified in the project agreement:

• A deposit of 50% is required before work commences
• The remaining balance is due upon delivery of final files
• Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue

Late payments may be subject to a 2% monthly interest charge.

Your content: You retain full ownership of all manuscripts, text, images, and other materials you provide to us. Engaging our services does not transfer any intellectual property rights to Holograph PressWorks.

Our work product: Upon receipt of full payment, all deliverables created by us for your project (formatted files, layouts, converted e-books) are transferred to you. We retain the right to include a non-confidential description of the project type in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Website content: All text, design, code, and imagery on holographpressworks.com is owned by Holograph PressWorks and may not be reproduced without written permission.

To ensure efficient project delivery, you agree to:

• Provide complete, final manuscript files and assets at the agreed start of the project
• Respond to proofs and revision requests within the timeframe specified in the project agreement
• Ensure that the content you provide does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Obtain all necessary permissions for any third-party content (excerpts, images, etc.) included in your manuscript

Delays caused by late delivery of materials or slow approval of proofs may affect delivery timelines and could result in revised scheduling.

Each project agreement specifies the number of revision rounds included. Revisions beyond the agreed scope will be quoted and charged separately at our current hourly rate.

Significant changes to the manuscript or scope after work has commenced — such as adding chapters, changing the trim size, or switching formats — may require a revised quote.

If you choose to cancel a project after work has commenced:

• The deposit is non-refundable
• You will be invoiced for any work completed up to the date of cancellation, at a pro-rated rate
• Partially completed files may be delivered at our discretion

Holograph PressWorks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total fees paid for that project.

We are not responsible for distributor requirements, platform rejection, or sales outcomes after delivery of final files.

We treat all unpublished manuscripts and project materials as confidential. We will not share, disclose, or publish your materials without your written consent. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

You agree not to use our website to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the site's operation

We reserve the right to refuse service or block access to anyone who violates these terms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
